The performance will be recorded during the Sunday performance and it would be nice if as many Nursery & Pre-Primary Ballet pupils as possible were able to stay to participate in the Finale for this performance. For both Saturday performances the Nursery and Pre-Primary Ballet pupils will need to be collected after they perfom, so that they do not become over tired and therefore not enjoy the experience.
Due to health and safety regulations all pupils and chaperones will need to be signed in and out of these rehearsals & shows as an accurate record of who is in the building is required at all times. Due to these regulations no pupil will be allowed out of the building at any time without a responsible adult to collect them. Pupils of 16 or over will not require an adult but will require a permission letter signed by a parent to be allowed to leave the building.
Also due to these regulations anyone who is not an "official helper" will not be permitted to go beyond the entrance at either the rehearsals or performances for any reason.
I would also like to request volunteers to help backstage during both the dress rehearsals and the shows.
The kind of thing involved will be simple hair and make-up, escorting groups of pupils to and from the stage area and general supervision of the children.
If you would like to be involved backstage you will need to be available for at least one of the performances and at least one of the for the dress rehearsals. It is essential that you are at one of the dress rehearsals so that the children are used to you and so that you can familiarise yourself with the show.
Due to fire regulations, anyone who is not an official volunteer will not be allowed to enter the backstage area, all children should be dropped off at the stage door at the allotted time and collected from the same place.
If you are able to help, please let me know by email detailing when you will be available to help.
Many Thanks in advance for your continued support, with out your help the show would not be able to go ahead.
As always please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions about the above.
